Wrote content for trip itineraries, including highlights, lodging descriptions, and arrival and departure information
Project managed all new itineraries to ensure consistent voice and necessary information
Collaborated with sales team to educate about an area, inform travelers of timely information (ie. when to book permits), and call out special offers
Worked with marketing team to streamline the process from concept to publication
Managed an SEO audit of our web pages and updated title tags and meta descriptions
WRITING STYLE
The voice and tone of the copy should inform and inspire readers. We wanted to come of as a well-traveled friend who knew the best hikes, lodges, and restaurants. Our team used The Chicago Manual of Style along with an in-house style guide.
SEO
With more than 200 trips on our website, I was tasked with writing succinct meta descriptions and title tags. Through keyword volume research, I optimized our web pages to rank higher on Google and other search engines.
